Pretty Loud Mag is an independently owned music publication. References to "Pretty Loud Mag," "PLM," "we," "us," or "our" throughout this policy refer to Pretty Loud Mag and the individuals who help operate the publication and website.
Information You Provide
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you contact Pretty Loud Mag, submit music or editorial materials, request coverage, inquire about a partnership, sign up for future communications, or otherwise communicate with us.
This information may include your name, email address, band or company name, social media accounts, website links, music links, photographs, press materials, biographies, messages, and any other information included in your submission.
Please do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your request.
Submitting music, photographs, videos, press releases, biographies, or other editorial materials does not guarantee coverage, publication, review, or a response.
How We Use Submitted Information
Information you provide may be used to respond to messages, review editorial submissions, evaluate interview or coverage opportunities, communicate about collaborations, manage partnerships, prepare articles, verify information, and operate Pretty Loud Mag.
Information and materials submitted for editorial consideration may also be retained for reference, future coverage, fact-checking, documentation, or publication archives.
We do not sell personal contact information.
Contact Message Retention
General contact messages and related correspondence may be retained for up to two years after the most recent communication unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to resolve an ongoing matter, comply with legal obligations, or protect the rights of Pretty Loud Mag.
You may request deletion of a general contact message by emailing contact@prettyloudmag.com.
Editorial Submission Retention
Editorial submissions may be retained longer than general contact messages. This may include music submissions, press releases, artist biographies, photographs, interviews, review materials, media kits, and related correspondence.
These materials may be retained because they can remain relevant to published coverage, future stories, fact-checking, editorial archives, or the history of Pretty Loud Mag's relationship with an artist or organization.
A request to delete submitted materials may be considered, but deletion may not always be possible when the material has already been published, incorporated into editorial work, archived for documentation, or provided with permission for ongoing promotional use.
Website Analytics
Pretty Loud Mag uses Google Analytics to better understand how visitors use the website. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, browser type, referral source, time spent on the website, and general interaction data.
Pretty Loud Mag does not currently use Google Signals or Google Analytics advertising features.

Sponsors and advertisers do not receive access to private contact messages, unpublished submissions, or personal information simply because they advertise with or partner with Pretty Loud Mag.
A sponsor may receive general campaign information, such as website traffic, link clicks, impressions, or other aggregated performance information when available.
Affiliate Links
Pretty Loud Mag does not currently use affiliate links.
Should affiliate links be added in the future, this Privacy Policy and any relevant disclosure language will be updated. Affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly, and the use of an affiliate link will not increase the price paid by the reader unless otherwise stated.
Email Newsletters and Future Mailing Lists
Pretty Loud Mag may introduce an email newsletter or mailing list in the future.
Newsletter enrollment will require a deliberate opt-in. Contacting Pretty Loud Mag, submitting music, requesting coverage, participating in an interview, or sending editorial materials will not automatically subscribe anyone to marketing emails.
Newsletter subscribers will be able to unsubscribe using the link included in each promotional email or by contacting Pretty Loud Mag directly.
